The Al Shahba group, like most neighborhoods in Sharjah, has a narrow grid plan. A broad plot is devoted to a shopping center. Sharjah's health office supervises provincial health services. There is also a government office.

Most residential buildings are separate villas in Al Shahba. The buildings on the outskirts of the town are many bigger and spacious homes. Wasit Street and Third Industrial Street take you to Emirates Road (E88) as Sharjah's main highway. Private and mainly tinted residential parking spaces are present in Al Shahba. They can hold up to three vehicles, whereas parking can hold up to 8 vehicles in bigger homes. The developed street area is intended to attract tourists.

Al Shahba includes convenience shops, grocery stores, supermarkets to purchase domestic goods. The supermarkets of the Golden Bird, the Dinar Supermarket, and the Al Shareef Supermarket, are situated on Wasit Street. Al Marwa's Spices Trading stock in a supermarket includes a variety of spices and staple foods.

Mosques & Holy places in Al Shahba 

Whatever block they live in, people can hear the call to prayer because mosques are found in multiple corners in Al Shahba. In the heart of the City is Al Shahba Mosque, while other praying places are situated in two separate corners, including the Sheikh Saud Al-Qasimi Mosque and the Abu Ayoub Alansari Mosque. Almonther Ibn Mohammed Mosque, Aqeel Ibn Abi Taleb Mosque, and Almiqdad Ibn Amr Mosque can be found in this area as well. There is a range of churches close to Al Shahba just 11 minutes away from other religious sites. The Church is Apostolic, the Orthodox Church of Dubai and the Saint Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Orthodox Parish
